The California Heart Center Foundation is committed to being an active participant in the development of revolutionary diagnostic and therapeutic tools to identify and fight heart disease — to create an arsenal that serves to preserve and enhance quality of life.

A staggering number of scientific breakthroughs have been made in recent years but these only become useful if they can be studied and integrated carefully into practice. The California Heart Center Foundation provides the infrastructure within which new technologies are tested and, in turn, made available in the clinical care setting.

A multidisciplinary approach that combines expertise and clinical knowledge, information and data analysis technologies, and the experience of primary investigators, physicians, staff and research fellows is actively encouraged. We believe collaboration is essential to create new solutions in combating heart disease — collaboration between institutions, professionals, medical specialties and indeed with patients themselves.
