Dael Geft, MD
Dael Geft, M.D. is board certified in advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology, internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religion at Columbia University and his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel. He completed his internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center followed by fellowship in cardiology and subspecialty training in advanced heart failure, heart transplant, mechanical circulatory support and pulmonary hypertension at Cedars-Sinai as well. Dr. Geft has a keen interest in both research and teaching. He has published on a wide variety of topics and is actively part of many clinical trials. He gives lecturers routinely to premed, medical students and fellows and has spoken at various conferences and symposia both nationally and internationally. As a resident, Dr. Geft was awarded the Ben Newman Award for Excellence in Patient Care. During fellowship, he received the award for Outstanding Fellow of the Year. He is currently Associate Director, Pulmonary Hypertension Research and Education.
