Andriana Nikolova, MD, PhD
Andriana Nikolova, MD, PhD joined the California Heart Center in September 2020, after completing her fellowships in General Cardiology as well as Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Nikolova received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She is board certified in advanced heart failure and transplantation, general cardiology, internal medicine, cardiac CT and echocardiography. Her clinical interests include preventive cardiology, cardio-oncology, infiltrative cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease as well as use of mechanical circulatory therapies and transplantation in advanced heart disease. Having obtained her PhD in Biomedical Sciences, she maintains active research practice on the use of novel diagnostics and therapeutic outcomes in patients with advanced heart disease and heart transplant recipients.
