David H. Chang, MD
David H. Chang, MD is Associate Director, Post Graduate in Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation Advanced Heart Disease and is Board Certified in advanced heart failure and transplantation, cardiovascular disease, and echocardiography. He joined the California Heart Center in 2011 from UCLA, where he also has an appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Chang has a strong interest in clinical and translational research and teaching clinicians in training. His current areas of research interest include clinical trials for symptomatic heart failure, mechanical circulatory support for end stage heart disease, antibody sensitization in heart transplantation and methods to diagnose post heart transplant rejection. Dr. Chang has received teaching awards as a resident and fellow and served as chief resident and chief fellow.
